Future Cities - Managing Africa's Urban Transformation, May 30-31 2012, Lagos

Mayors and leaders from Africa's top cities gathered in Lagos to debate the region's urban transformation

Future Cities Africa, part of a global series of summits, featured those managing, planning, designing and financing Africa's most innovative cities. Participants were able to hear world-class authorities in urban planning, infrastructure, housing, construction, transport, energy and achitecture.

High-level speakers included five African mayors from Lagos State, Johannesburg, Dar Es Salaam, Harare and Cape Town:
