Future Cities, 18th-19th October 2011, Stockholm

On October 18th and 19th  in Stockholm’s Grand Hôtel, over 200 authorities in urban planning, construction, energy, transport, architecture and smart technology gathered to discuss the future of cities.

This exciting launch event proved to be a truly international affair with delegates coming from 30 countries and 6 continents (sadly we couldn’t get anyone from Antarctica). They consisted of Mayors and Deputy Mayors from cities including Johannesburg, Barcelona, Oslo, Stockholm, Malmo, Stuttgart, Dar Es Salaam, and over 170 senior executives, urban planners and policymakers.

We now look forward to Future Cities events in 2012, when we will visit Moscow and Lagos.
